This remarkable auction features more than 1000 beautiful, rare, and exotic items from the Estate of Susan Jennifer MacDonald of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, as well as a small curated selection of high-end items contributed by other private consignors. 

Susan was an independent and well-travelled woman with excellent taste, as well as an avid and discerning collector. She amassed an impressive collection of art and antiques during her fascinating career as an international trade representative for the Government of Ontario (which included diplomatic postings in Singapore, Los Angeles, and Chicago) and as a personal wealth advisor for the Bank of Montreal. Her extensive travels and international connections provided a unique opportunity to acquire exceptional items from afar, and her collection reflects a fondness for Asian art and antiques in particular.  

On the day that Susan moved to Summerside, her belongings filled three full moving vans and a smaller truck. When Moe's Auction House was engaged to hold an auction on behalf of her estate, we found her home full of unopened boxes that had remained where they were placed by the movers eight years ago. We didn't know what treasures Susan had accumulated until we started unpacking the boxes, and we were amazed at what we discovered. This is a collection that you'll have to see to believe!
